Family Bouldering
Rockcity has three separate kids and family bouldering areas designed specifically for the youngest of climbers to use. Children as young as two years old can rock up and boulder with their parent(s) or guardian(s). No under 2’s are allowed in our family bouldering areas (we are also unable to allow prams into the family bouldering.)
There is no spectator viewing space in our family bouldering areas. Everyone who wishes to go into the family bouldering areas must be registered and paid for.
Voyage through the expanse of the Rockcity Space area, scale the walls of the Rockcity Castle and achieve new heights in the Rockcity Loft.
Please ensure that you complete the necessary online forms for your bookings.
Supervision
Family Area Pass participants aged 2 to 13 must be supervised by an Adult Bouldering Member.
Under 14’s must be supervised by an adult member with a maximum ratio of 1:2.
If you are not a Rockcity Member, please complete an Adult Bouldering Membership Form. This form is valid for one year from the completion date.
If you are an existing Rockcity Member, please check that your Form is up-to-date. If you are unsure, please complete a new Adult Bouldering Membership Form.
Climbing with over 14’s?
Those ages 14 and over must register a Junior Bouldering Membership. This allows them to use the bouldering facilities unsupervised.
Junior Members can book a bouldering session to use the rest of the bouldering centre without adult supervision.

The booking of a date / time slot is no longer required as part of our Family Bouldering. Please complete the forms listed below, complete your purchase and then come to Rockcity at a time that is convenient for you. Your pass will be on your account, so on arrival at Rockcity please provide your name to a member of our reception team.
Ensure all adults in your group have completed the Adult Bouldering Membership Form.
Complete Family Bouldering Supervision Form(s) for each child under the age of 14. Remember the ratio is 1 adult can supervise a maximum of two children.

Payments must be paid in full to secure booking. If you need to change the booking to another date we must have a minimum of seven days notice. If the booking is canceled less than seven days before the booking commences your payment will not be refunded under any circumstances.
